PiCowso’s “Three MOOsicians” was created by the Advanced Placement Art Studio Class at Clear Lake High School in Houston, Texas. This exemplary school boasts an art department of seven art teachers and currently has over 850 art students enrolled. Guided by veteran art teacher Richard Williams, the class emulated a famous painting of Picasso’s “Three Musicians”. The class took certain liberties with the palette using colors that were more contemporary as compared to the darker umbers and blues found in Picasso’s original. Take a minute and research the characters in the original, you will find a flutist, a guitar player and one reading sheet music. Our cow has the same characters on both sides adjacent with patterns that carry down the legs. She will stop traffic and will bring pleasure to anyone that encounters it.
