Paul MooCartney is a whimsical retrospective look back at a time when the limits of music, art and youthful expression were pushed to new limits. When long hair side-burns and outlandish fashions made a bold new statement and words like “far out” and “groovy” were coined. The Beatle’s and in particular, Paul McCartney epitomized this era. The artists concept for CowParade Houston centers around Paul’s attire during the “Sgt. Pepper’s” period, but also contains elements of other influential projects of the same period, including the Yellow submarine, the Magical Mystery Tour, and the Peace movement of the late 1960’s. This design is sure to bring back fond memories and nostalgic feelings for those who grew up during this exciting and tumultuous time.
