The design is meant reflect the world of mutual funds in Houston. According to artist Gayle Boggess, The use of green and gold colors in the design reflects monetary success in the world of finance.
The artists work, primarily done in oils and watercolors, is in private and public collections across the U.S. She is a native Houstonian living in the Katy area with her husband. They are the parents of four grown children and have five grandchildren.
