In the words of the artist, "Invisible Cow, Pastoral - painted with a sprawling landscape adorning it's lower half and a cloud dotted sky above this cow carries its home wherever it goes. The paint recreates a pasture, speckled with lupines and an occasional oak tree. Meant to suggest a generic American 'cow-friendly' landscape, Texas' Hill Country influence can hardly be overlooked."
Jones also notes, "The mobile quality of a cow expands the sphere of the 'invisible' by removing the object being painted from its stationary status in the world thereby making it a puzzle piece suggestive of the greater picture from which it came.”
