Look no further--that is, if you're interested in a work with a bit of a bovine feel. This beautiful bovine is one of the nearly 330 life-size cows painted and sculpted by Houston-area artists and seen throughout Houston this summer as part of CowParade Houston 2001. This remarkable statue can be yours. Be part of the fun, and help an incredible cause along the way. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Texas Children’s Hospital Building for Children capital campaign and will help fund the expansion of the Texas Children’s Cancer Center. Fourth and fifth grade special education students at Browning Elementary, their teacher, Aneisha Brooks, Belinda Johnson’s 2nd grade class, and Jennifer Crow’s 5th grade class all helped to create Hot Milk. The chili peppers were an idea to celebrate their Hispanic heritage within a theme of Texas pride. The cow was named “Hot Milk” because, in their words, “What other kind of milk would come from such a peppery cow?” So add a little spice to your home with Hot Milk.				This cow was sold in Flight 1 of the internet auction hosted by Amazon.com that ran from December 7 - 13, 2001. Send a Postcard
