Dressed with a red logo visor, David Duval like sunglasses and a yellow golf turtleneck with an emblem of crossed golf clubs, Mac the Forecowddie has found the golf ball for his player. The rest of the body depicts an actual golf hole complete with the water hazards full of reeds and fish, multiple shades of green to depict the fairway and different cuts of the green bunkers, and a yellow flagstick and red flag. Watch out for the O/B on the udder—it is of course, out of bounds. The found ball sits on a tuft of grass just blow the nose. The golf theme is a familiar one to Houston. Houston has challenging courses with beautiful golf holes and great weather. The opportunity to play golf all year makes this a perfect design for a cow. The artist states, “I chose simple, stylized shapes and bright colors to communicate a somewhat unfamiliar aspect of the game of golf. The forecaddie goes ahead of his player to identify the ball and save his player any penalty.”				Send a Postcard
