Cowntry Moosic Star was inspired by the classic image of a female country-western singer. She is wearing a rhinestone-studded and fringed western style shirt and black jeans. Her long red hair is "Texas-size" and she is wearing red cowboy boots painted with gold musical notes.

Kati Ozanic-Lemberger is a professional artist living and working in Houston. She attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and graduated with a B.F.A. from The University of Illinois in Chicago. She is a painter specializing in residential and commercial murals. She is the site artist for The Houston International Festival and produces artwork for other festivals and events.
This remarkable statue can now be yours. So, be part of the fun, and help an incredible cause along the way. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Texas Children’s Hospital Building for Children capital campaign and will help fund the expansion of the Texas Children’s Cancer Center.

This cow was sold in Flight 3 of the internet auction hosted by Amazon.com that ran from December 12 - 18, 2001.
