Artist Bexar wanted to create a cow using a famous artists name. Moondrian was done and so was Picowso, as well as Moonet. Then he thought of the Menil and came up with Cow Twombly. I have always been amazed by Cy Twomblys work since the first time I saw his paintings. When I paint, it is in a similar style to his. I immediately went to his museum in Montrose (on the Menil grounds) and started formulating the design. I wanted something that children would think was funny. So I studies his chalkboard like paintings and Cow Twombly was born. Cow Twombly is a masterpiece in her own right and looks forward to showing herself off in your home.
The artists sculptures are created from mostly discarded parts of electrical equipment, which he recycles. Bexars work has been shown throughout Houston and Texas.
