Cow Bird is a joyous, colorful and whimsical image of a cow with a large bird on its right and left sides. One bird is made entirely of a large checkerboard design and the other bird is painted abstractly and blends in with the painted cow. According to Harris, My first inspiration was to playfully honor all the birds that like to hang around cows!!!! As I continued to work on the image, it seemed to become more about a Whimsical Zen idea of the bird being at one with its cow and the cow being at one with its bird!!!!
