Beaux Vines is covered with vines that flower in Houston – trumpet vine, morning glory, pink coral vine and bougainvillea. The artist insists she speaks French. Artist Mary Craddock hopes that viewers will be reminded of the lush foliage around Houston. Beaux Vines hopes that someone with a big, beautiful garden (or sun room) will take her home.

The artist, who is a Houston native was educated at the University of Texas and Johns Hopkins University, and also studied at the Glassell School Art League. She has been an oil and watercolor painter since 1985.
This remarkable statue can now be yours. So, be part of the fun, and help an incredible cause along the way. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Texas Children’s Hospital Building for Children capital campaign and will help fund the expansion of the Texas Children’s Cancer Center.

This cow was sold in Flight 3 of the internet auction hosted by Amazon.com that ran from December 12 - 18, 2001.
