According to the artist, the design is meant to be a vibrant mix of spilt colors and flowers. What a wonderful design. A spectrum of color painted on a bovine - it almost looks like a rainbow.
The Glassell Junior School is the teaching wing of the Museum of Fine Arts of Houston offering art instruction for children ages 4-18. Students attending class during the spring 2001 semester were invited to submit their cow designs. A panel of Glassell faculty and staff selected winners. Charlene Scott submitted the Spilt Milk design.
