They say that everything is bigger in Texas. Well, thats certainly true of its Armadillos. This stately beast even grew horns. Artist Tommy Hughes says, I never realized Armadillos had so much stuff on them. I see them on the ranch almost everyday.
Tommy Hughes lives at Worlds End Ranch in Hunt, Texas with his wife Julia. Hughes has five children that are all in college and everyone in Hughes family is somehow involved in art. The artists brother was Andy Warhols Business Manager for 23 years. Hughes has been making, building or painting things since he was a child. He paints portraits and makes things for friends. Hughes, his wife and dog are all native Texans.
This remarkable statue can now be yours. So, be part of the fun, and help an incredible cause along the way. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Texas Childrens Hospital Building for Children capital campaign and will help fund the expansion of the Texas Childrens Cancer Center.
