This cow is painted with bright colors depicting the wild flower of Texas. The Texas blue sky becomes the backdrop for a variety of flowers.

Sellers says, “The sponsor requested the wildflowers. I chose to enlarge the subject matter so that each type of flower will have its own uniqueness.”

This cow was sold in the live auction conducted by Sotheby's on December 6, 2001 at the Wortham Center.
