Eve’s slogan, “I specialize in wiggly children” was given to Eve at the beginning of her career by an onlooker watching Eve draw a portrait of a two year old playing and having a good time. Eve graduated from Pratt Institute in the days when only abstraction was considered art, and was “taught” not to paint portraits and certainly not to use pastels, which, ironically, is what Eve loves to use.
